What is Vehicle Delivery and How Does it Work?
Vehicle delivery is a convenient service offered by some owners on our marketplace, allowing renters to have a UTV delivered directly to their chosen location.
Instead of picking up the vehicle yourself, the owner handles transportation, saving you time and effort.
This option is perfect for renters who prefer not to tow a UTV or who want the convenience of starting their adventure directly from the trailhead.
How does delivery work?
- Search for deliverable UTVs on Side By Side Share
- Refine your search by adding dates and other filters to find the perfect UTV
- Once you've selected your UTV, in the booking panel, add the address or name of the location where you would like your vehicle delivered
- Place your booking request.
- Confirm details with your host. Before your trip starts, confirm delivery and pickup times and any other specific requirements related to your trip.
How much does it cost to get a vehicle delivered?
The cost to have a vehicle delivered is decided by the vehicle owner. Owners typically decide delivery cost based on the distance they are willing to go to deliver the vehicle.
How do I know if the owner offers delivery?
You can check if an owner offers delivery for their vehicle by looking for the "Offers Delivery" box on the listing page. There you will find two pieces of important information:
- Max delivery distance. This is the maximum distance (in miles) the vehicle owner is willing to deliver the UTV.
- Cost of delivery. This is the total cost charged for delivery to your chosen location.
Where can the UTV be delivered?
We've seen UTVs delivered to all sorts of locations, but with that being said, the most popular places and use cases for delivery are:
- Campsites.
- Trailheads
- RV parks
- Hunting expeditions
- Events and festivals
- Construction sites
